Flower Delivery in Těškovice from a Florist in Opava

The village of Těškovice is in Opava District, about 22 km southeast of Opava and 18 km west of Ostrava. It lies between the valleys of the Jamník and Setina streams.

The first written record of Těškovice dates to 1377, when Ondřej from Těškovice bought the bailiwick in Hlubčice. The pseudo-Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the village centre was built in 1863 at the initiative of Count Teodor Falkenhaim. The primary school for years 1–5 stands beside the church in the village centre, in a building dating from 1875–1876. Northeast of the village is the flooded Skála quarry, where gravel was extracted on an industrial scale from 1925.
